Prisms
Prisms are used in optics to change the lightpath direction and, thanks to direction change dependence on wavelength, its application is also in light spectrum analysis. The phenomenon of total internal reflection allows to use a prism as an ideal light reflecting element. Prisms are used in production of many optical devices, for example: binoculars, periscopes etc.
